Local 8's jurisdiction has expanded. 

Local 8 now covers 76 counties in Illinois and 2 counties in Iowa! 

Local 8 has taken on two new employees, Ted Rodriguez. Ted has been a bricklayers for 23 years, his position now is Union Organizer.  Greg Cantrell is the other new member with us, he was previously with Local 6 and after the merger has stayed with Local 8 as the Morton Location Apprentice Instructor. Greg has been a bricklayer in the Peoria Chapter for 23 years also.
